"I asked around and it seems that sometime last year, they told all of the local roasters that they weren't going to carry their coffee any more. So much for Fresh Fair and Local. Peet's is wonderful coffee and it is local...in the Bay…"

Why did La Montanita Co-op stop carrying local coffee?

La Montanita used to carry lots of locally roasted coffee from places such as Michael Thomas, Winnings, Red Rock, etc but they no longer do.So imagine my shock at walking into the Co-op recently and seeing a big display of Peet's Coffee (from California)...but nothing from any of the roasters within 2 miles of the store.What happened?See More
