Hi 'fixers,I've decided to rent a house for me and the rapidly becoming medium/large dog. I've lived here 20 years this year and have owned houses in the SE and Cedar Crest, and lived with friends and rented all over. Places I'd like to rent include: UNM to San Mateo and south of Indian School, Fringecrest to San Mateo, Nob Hill to Gibson, and anywhere else nearby these areas that seems safe. Please contact me if you or anyone you know has a rental available with the following specs:2 br, 1 ba…See More

"Thanks for the input and the website link! Who knew the Forest Service was so organized and useful. :) A few of us are going hiking this Sunday, which sounds like it should at least be a bit beautiful."

Hey Cris,
I will absolutely take you up on that offer (May?).
I hope you think my cushy-comfort hybrid bike can take on the east mtns! I guess we'll see; maybe we can start with an amateur trail. Also, if you are itching to get on any winter friendly city trails, keep me in mind. I would love that! (fridays and weekends are good for me).
Otherwise, definitely early summer east mtns!

Hi Cris,
I would love any biking suggestions you have! I have definitely been more of a street/city trail biker, but am also interested in any mellow mtn biking areas you may know about. I just got a hybrid bike to be more comfortable for commuting/errands/etc., but it has good sized tires, so I think it could handle some moderate trails.
thanks! I'm excited to hear your ideas.
