My large black hen has an injured leg and is not able to get around on her own to eat and drink any more. I can tell from the way her leg looks that it won't be getting better. She is not a young hen and it seems like it is time to have her put down. There is no way I can do it myself so I was wondering if anyone on DCF ABQ Chicken Finders could give me some options of ways to handle this sad problem. I was born in Albuquerque and raised in the area. I have lived in other parts of the country, but was not truly happy until I got back here. I think the changes the city has gone through the past few years are wonderful, but have always found Albuquerque a fulfilling place to call home.
