Good News!

Here's my testament to why I love ABQ.

I live in the student ghetto...a block away from the university. While my house faces south on Gold Street, my garage faces west on University (a busy street). So, every time we park our bikes in the garage, we open and shut the garage.

We rarely forget, but today, either we forgot or it didn't shut completely and bounced back up (something blocking?) and we didn't notice.

So we had some errands to run (rented a ZipCar) drove around…

So was playing hooky from work and napping with my door open. Slowly, as if almost in a dream, I heard 2 people yelling at each other.

I got up and looked out, and it's a biker and some body in a car.

I made out this exchange. "What am I supposed to do? There aren't any bike lanes..."
