"No, they won't pick it up outside the pilot program area according to the information from ABCWUA @ the link in Phil's post. They will only pick up stuff stored in ABCWUA issued bins."

"But will they pick it up if you are not in the pilot area zones? I doubt it. The trucks that come down my street I don't think have the mechanism to lift the bins and dump into the truck. And if its done by hand, they will not take containers…"

About Me:: Moved to New Mexico from Ohio in September '07; I like to play guitar, golf, listen to music, just started oil painting. Also I love all the activities with my 8 & 11 year-old daughters.
I'm working as a substitute teacher for APS; I'm also a Sports Official for the Albuquerque City Sports Office: Umpiring adult league softball and refereeing basketball. Also on call part-time I'm a Standardized Patient for UNM Med school.

I've lived in and used public transit in Cleveland and Dayton, OH; I've had experience (while visiting) using public transportation (buses & trains) in Columbus, OH, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco and probaly a few other cities I'm forgetting... I can't get over the fact that here in Albuquerque, the buses completely shut down around 8:30 or 9 o'clock at night; weekends are even worse, with buses shutting down around 6 PM every Saturday and Sunday; then HOLIDAYS!!!
