"AMEN to this Jessie! I can't tell you how many times I've been walking my leashed dogs (in town, at public parks) only to have a strange unleashed dog run up to us with thier owner yelling "it's ok, s/he's friendly!"…"
"Just another FYI coyote alert for anyone who walks their dog/s on the Bosque...like SweetCaroline, I have also run into a coyote there, west bank of the Bosque, north of Central Ave.
More often I see them in the foothills, sometimes from a…"
"to add fuel to the leash/off leash debate, here is info on Boulder, Colorado's "voice and sight control" tag program. A dog owner who is able to demonstrate voice and sight control may register with the city and walk off leash as long…"
"Laws or not, it's simply bad behavior to have your dog off-leash, unless it is 100% under voice command (and I've *never* encountered a dog outside a working farm that was). Your dog might be fine, but mine isn't--and me keeping my…"
"I take my dog walking where I see others with LEASHED dogs and carrying a POOP BAG. I avoid other trails. I did let my dog off leash in the Bosque once about 10 years ago. Never again. A pair of coyotes popped out the brush and were running my small…"
"You can take your dog on almost every trail in New Mexico, but there are exactly 0 where you're legally allowed to have your dog off leash. Everyone breaks these rules, obviously, including me, though I leash them on crowded trails or where…"

The ABQ Real Estate market is fairing well in comparison to most of the rest of the country. In some states they had as much as 35-40% increases in property values in 2004-2005. Unfortunately, what comes up, must come down. In ABQ we rose about 12% averaging across the 4 quadrants, with the NE Heights the grestest increase. Less rise + less fall. We are currently down about 10% in median sales price, but our inventory is looking good. What most people don't realize is that in 2007 we had a much greater inventory with over 7200+ single fam res vs. today at about 5900. Just like anything else in the financial markets, Real Estate is cyclicle. Most analysts predict about a 15-17 year cycle. Hope that helps some. My business is dong well!
I don't have a site yet, but am collabing with a friend to get one up soon. You can check that particular painting out at Masks y Mas in Nobb Hill. It's hanging in their gallery. I'll try to get some more pics of my art up soon. Don't know much about the exhibit in Taos, but sounds interesting. Thanks!
