2nd & 3rd Old Town Santero Market featuring Mariachi & Flamenco Days
The popular Santero Market returns to Old Town in time for Balloon Fiesta visitors to join the crowd and enjoy lots of live entertainment as they visit the many artists and artisans who display and sell their creations.
Saturday is “Mariachi Day” at the Santero Market, with live music throughout the day. Performers include:
• 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Mariachi Nuevo Sonido
• 11:00 a.m. – Noon Mariachi San Jose – Advance Group
• Noon – 5:00 p.m. Mariachi Talent Show
• 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Mariachi Nuevo Mexico
Sunday is “Flamenco Day” at Santero Market, with live music throughout the day. Performers include:
• 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Dancers from Yjastros, Alma Flamenca and Niños Flamencos join together to make it an unforgettable day of dynamic performances and fascinating discussion of flamenco topics. Castanets, palmas, cante, history and much more. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the fascinating world of flamenco with the very best!
