What does Qwest charge for just internet? Everything I find give an into price but no info on what it is after the initial offer is over. I dropped Comcast for cable but still have them for internet, mostly because I have no land line. I went wit...

Fellow NM Photographer!
Just a quick note to invite you to Karl Koenig's opening at the Inpost Art Space (at the Outpost Performance Space, 210 Yale SE) this coming Friday evening, 5-8. Karl is a talented photographer who makes images mostly of nature and architecture, the world round. The show will focus on his large format gumoil photographs, a process that he pioneered himself about 20 years ago. The prints are hand pigmented, resulting in amazingly vibrant photographs with a wondrous, almost catastrophic fairy tale quality. I find them highly affecting and unique.

My fellow curator Rob Thalmann and I plan to focus heavily on local photography during our 2 year term there at the Outpost, and this is just the tip of the iceberg for us. Maybe we could even do a DCF photographer's group show there?

Come see the show on the 5th!

Nob Hill Neon

Ever since arriving in Albuquerque almost 4 years ago, I've wanted to go out some night and take photos of the neon along Central Ave. Last night, I finally got off my butt and did a stretch of the stuff along Central in Nob Hill.

I started off a few blocks from my house at the edge… Continue

Gay Pride Parade

Unfortunately, I can't get to the fairgrounds this afternoon, but I was able to make it to the parade. I shot a fair amount of photos. These are some of my favorites.

Patio II: The Sequel

Over the past several weeks I've been enduring the insanity of trying to get two large home improvement projects done. Thanks to lower interest rates and a refi I was able to have central heating and air installed in my 1945ish house that's situated East of Nob Hill.

I have a whole list of plans of projects to do--a new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, to get rid of 1960s paneling in a garage conversion, a new driveway etc. etc. etc. It's basically a 10 year plan, but now with added outdoor space I am… Continue
