I am a happily recovering lawyer. I write a column and occasional feature articles for The Weekly Alibi and appear as a regular panelist (talking bobblehead) on KNME-TV's The Line. I love the outdoors, Italian food, my classic Italian road bike, singing and my wife who continually astonishes and inspires me.
Phil Yancey on grace and prayer (fields in which I have little competency), poems on nature by Mary Oliver and Gerard Manley Hopkins, John D. McDonald on murder and deception, Steve Ilg "The Outdoor Athlete" and "The Rough Guide to Montreal"

As soon as I saw the "C" word, my neck hairs bristled with envy, and then as I continued to read, envy gave way to slobbering lust.
We'd best not ever ride together, Sr. Scarantino; I may become entranced by the majesty of your bike and helplessly veer into it, like a sailor dashed upon the rocks by the call of the harpies.
I don't think I'll be able to read your articles in the Alibi any longer, as every word will begin with a "C" and end with an "olnago"
