I have been trying to figure how to make space for chickens without getting rid of our bunnies. I am not crazy about a bunnies on top birds on the bottom thing like Joel Salatin uses. I would be interested to know how you have everyone set up.

I enjoyed the article in the Paper, I had no idea that there was a community for backyard chickens. We started the backyard chicken project at the first of the year, now we have a beautiful hen house and coop,( The Holiday Hen) and we raised 6 Buff Opingtons and 19 Americuana roosters. The roosters were sent to keep the hens warm in transport. We have culled our flock down to just 4 hens and they are about 6 weeks old. I would really like to see the other coops and display mine, my son, daughter and I had a great time building it.
Please let me know where to post or to look for the other coops locally.
