In Albuquerque on the West side. I travel between Seattle, Michigan and Albuquerque.

About Me:

I'm an artist, I specialize in landscapes and oil portraits. I've been married almost 3 decades and have 2 grown children who also live in Albuquerque. My pets died this year so I'm pet-less now.

Favorite Thing(s) About Albuquerque:

The sun, the desert and the incredible smell in the air in the morning, the green chilis on everything, the sandals, the casual clothes, the art that appears everywhere-out of nowhere it seems, seeing 150 miles off into the distance, the volcanos to the West, the Sandias in the morning and evening sun, the spanish music, the old churches, red chilis on houses, adobe homes, blue skies always, the crazy wind, insanely heavy rainstorms and then bright sun an hour later, lightning!!, the road system is laid out well, the food.

Albuquerque Airport

I just had to post this picture of the airport when I dropped my husband off so he could fly to Seattle to work. This is a stranger..don't know who it is, but they were the only car behind us when we stopped to unload. There were only 3 cars in front of us.

So GOOD to be home!!!!

It's so wonderful to be home working in my own studio again. There aren't enough exclamation points to cover that statement. Every day it's been cool but sunny. Getting ready to spend all of the 23rd flying back to Albuquerque from Michigan, where I've been for 10 day. My husband has to take 4 planes and I have to take 3...mercifully, I am the one that gets a straight flight at least to Salt Lake City. In SL City though, it's snowing. We're hoping we won't get stuck there. I'm tired of travel and ready to get back to my house. Can't wait.
