Profile Information

About Me:
The light, culture and climate of The Land of Enchantment drew Kelly to New Mexico for college at St. John's in Santa Fe. Prepared to do everything and nothing with her liberal arts degree, she settled into the nonprofit world, earned an MBA and bounced between Tucson, Minneapolis and Phoenix before she convinced her born and bred Midwestern husband that Albuquerque was the place to buy a house, adopt a few dogs and set down roots.

She's now a jack of all trades writer, concentrating on the arts, food and lifestyle stories as a regular contributor to several local publications including Albuquerque Arts Magazine, Localflavor Magazine and the New Mexico Business Weekly. And she writes a mean press release, a good newsletter and great ghostwritten articles for her corporate clients.

Full disclosure: I'm on the board of the Arts Alliance and the Albuquerque Art Business Association. I love the arts in all their diversity.
Favorite Thing(s) About Albuquerque:

Chad Brummett is a dynamic local actor whose ability to create characters with movement, voices and subtle changes in expression make him mesmerizing to watch. Especially when you’re sitting in the front row of The Velocity of Gary (Not His Real Name),… Continue
