He was born May 21st. I was there 9 days later and overheard some zoo volunteers mention he had been named "first-born" in an African language, but I don't remember the name (which language wasn't mentioned). Baby still had his umbilical stump. So...
My folks have had good luck with leaving out a few cottonballs with some essential oil of peppermint sprinkled on them. It kept their barn mouse-free while they were building their house. Every few days you need to freshen up the peppermint oil.
