About Me:
I've been lurking on Duke City Fix almost since it started by was inspired to actually sign up by the 10,000 member mark. Hooray for the return of Morning Fix and the good folks who compile it.

I've knocked around central New Mexico since I-40 was Route 66, attending UNM, working at everything from building design to belly dancing. I've also done a lot of writing for local and regional publications, mostly about politics, housing and environmental issues.

Currently I'm working at the publication of a couple of novels. I live in Los Lunas with my husband and an assortment of wildlife, and more and more, I'm known as "Aly's Mom."
Favorite Thing(s) About Albuquerque:
The "No te preocupas" attitude, the food, the arts, random conversations with people, the mountains and the terrific components of the Rio Grande BioPark.
What I'm Reading:
