Souvenir (A Fantasia on the life of Florence Foster Jenkins) by Stephen Temperley - a wealthy woman who achieved success in New York by singing opera- badly! She and her accompanist became the talk of Manhattan in the 1930s and 40s by producing concerts at the Ritz Carlton and giving the money to charity.  In spite of the fact Mrs Jenkins had no pitch, no tempo, couldn't hit a correct note, her career culminated in a sold out performance at Carnegie Hall.
