We tried Earth Boxes, (home made) this year and could not be happier with the results. They are the perfect solution for our arid, desert climate and poor soil and can be made for about $7 dollars. Buff Orphington rooster needs a home
We had 5 chicks in late summer, one was becoming twice the size of the others, this morning we woke to the distinctive sounds of cocka-doodle-do. "He" is gorgeous, large with the brilliant yellow colors that buffs have. He is afraid of one of his hens, so I suspect this will not be a rooster with a Rambo complex, but he can't stay here now. We live in Nob Hill and very close to neighbors. His name was Rita, so I am hoping someone would love to give Rita a good home?.See More
