July 14, 2017 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
In 2013, Robert Glass stepped down from his position as Senior Scientist at Sandia and began creating art driven by experimental discovery. Working in steel, Glass lets the creative process grow and evolve. With every new piece, each experiment influences the next. The finished sculptures are elegant abstracts suggesting totems and plant forms.Alexis Kaminsky likes the simplicity and infinite combinability of basic geometric forms. Her patterns work with and against the rigidity of grids. After…See More

Nonsense Abstractings: J.L. Johnson and Dave Ortiz at Page Coleman Gallery

July 8, 2016 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
“Nonsense Abstractings” is all about light-hearted, silly and strange art. Both J.L. Johnson and Dave Ortiz are genuine makers of stuff and mischief. They make their art because they want to, because it pleases them. Comic themes, meanderings of subconscious minds, scribbles and doodles, surprise endings, unknown beginnings and wild imaginations are all factors in both artists’ works. See More

Page, I believe I have been going to your gallery (with a few gaps) since '93 or so. I have worked until recently at the Art is OK gallery, and found myself out of a job this June... So, I'm a little out of touch with any recent work. Maybe I should drop by your gallery and see 'what's up'...

Thanks Page.
I LOVE your Gallery. It has a great feeling and look about it.
So many contemporary art galleries today have a very COLD, severe, affected look about them - but yours has a very modern, warm, professional look.
Have a fabulous Friday!!!

Hey! If you're trying to create a post like the one about Jacqui's show it's the 'Start Discussion' option rather than 'Add a Comment'. The 'Start Discussion' option is next to the green plus symbol just above the Comment Wall. Glad to see you letting everyone know what's going on at Coleman Gallery!
