Show runs through 4/3/14Jo Moniz paints and sculpts with encaustic and mixed media. Layers of pigment, beeswax and damar resin create colorful foundations for her vivid paintings. Moniz etches into the encaustic, and occasionally embeds sketches on tissue or rice paper.
