Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) Training at Juvenile Justice Center

April 26, 2011 from 12pm to 1:30pm
The Second Judicial District Children's Court CASA Program is putting on a training on ICWA issues, on April 27, 2010, 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. The speakers will be(1) Bernie Teab, a member of the Navajo nation and the Pueblo of Santa Clara Tribe, and the current Tribal Liason for CYFD's Office of the Secretary; and(2) Simon Romo, Esq., certified national Child Welfare Law Speicialist. The training will address issues such as:who qualifies for ICWA;what are the various roels of the parties in an…See More
