I have absoulutly heard of you grandmother. I am from Chimayo and the network is trally small.. I have done pretty well I studied under a master weaver for 5 years.. I would do it soley for art sake if I could live off of it. In the next five years I have decided to buy a place in New Mexico and be bi residential I will spend 2 weeks in LA for work and 2 weeks there hopefully weaving. I cannot wait.

thanks psychomom (great name by the way) - i know i need to join a club if i'm going to get any better. there is only so much time the folks at the knit shops are able to devote to a customer with too many questions. And the classes are not conducive to my schedule. i see you are a cyclist too. As am i. What kind of riding do you do?
