No problem, Suzanne.
I am used to seeing various funny versions of my last name.
Hayakawa is a typical Japanese surname.
But I have had people spell my name: Hiakawa, Hiawaka, Hakayawa, Hayahaya, Hawawaya, and even Hiawatha!! LOL!!
Have you heard of Samuel L. Hayakawa?
He was president of San Francisco State College many years ago and he wrote a famous book called: Language in Thoughts and Action, a great book about semantics.
Also, there was a famous Japanese actor named Sessue Hayakawa many years ago. He starred in a movie called "The Bridge of River Kwai".
