Good words about art...

“Through art, we can challenge many of our society's deepest assumptions, such as the boundaries between self and other, 'artist' and 'non-artist', present and past, male and female, young and old, 'normal' and 'abnormal'. The social artist builds upon the power of artistic creation and expression to spark new ideas, catalyze critical thinking, elicit new actions, inspire individuals and create visions. (excerpt from the DigiCare Foundation’s statement on Art and Social Change.)”

12x12 Our Annual Fundraiser - December 7th, 5-8:30 pm

This year The Harwood has taken a different approach for its annual fundraiser. We asked artists from our various communities to create a piece of art using a 12x12 inch square of plywood. Sales begin at 5 pm on December 7th.

Deets: This is NOT an auction! All pieces available for $144. Be here… Continue
