Drum Clinic with Tootie Heath at Grandma's Music & Sound

Albert "Tootie" Heath has long been a top hard bop-based drummer with an open mind toward more commercial styles of jazz. After moving to New York (1957), he debuted on record with John Coltrane. Albert Heath was with J.J. New Mexi-Gras Winter Fun-raiser at Albuquerque Museum of Art & History

Celebrate Mardi-Gras in New Mexico style. There will be 2 great dance bands – the R&B room with the DCN Project and the Blues room with Bad Katz.  To round out the music scene, we also have Maren Hatch Jazz Duo with Michael Anthony, as well as, the Route 66 Revelers.
