"My son's are 18 and 20 now and your post brought back some good baseball memories. I miss going to their games and watching the team progress through the season. Enjoy your 'boys of summer', it flies by too fast. Play Ball!"

HOW DO YOU FIND THE WORDS?

As a dad, I always think I'll be able to handle situations as they happen. Always be able to find the words to explain why the world is the way that it is.Our son played his first Little League game ever. He has played soccer in the past, but seemed disinterested by the sport. So I signed him up to play baseball. It was the sport I grew up with and loved as a kid.My family moved back to California from England in 1982. In England, even on an Air Force Base, the only sport for kids was soccer.…See More

Look Who's On The Phone.....

I like to joke with some of the other "media" types, that while we (Jackie, Donnie and myself) are members of the "media", we really aren't. We're three people who go in each weekday morning...chit chat (sometimes too much) and then go home for the day. We usually leave the "serious" news to other people. We're you're outlet for when Britney Spears goes crazy...or Angelina Jolie adopts another child.

One thing that we have talked quite a bit about is the excitement surrounding this… Continue

The FREE admission lasts from 6am until 10am and is open to everyone. It's part of a promotion we have this summer at The Peak, offering free admission to some of the fun things here in Albuquerque

For About 8 Hours...We Were A "Somewhat" Legit Show

My day job is one of those that some people find "neat". I get to do a morning show with my wife, and our really good friend on 100.3 The Peak. Usually we touch on "light hearted" stuff, or will spend way too much time discussing the downfall of "Brit Brit Y'all". Some would say we spend way too much time "yapping' and not enough time playing music. Others wonder why we even play music....we should just keep talking. And then there are those who claim we work for the "great Satan"....and…

This is what is on "rose's" profile page in her About Me section:

"I am me and love people, I like to make sour people happy..."

Guess she needs to take her own advise. Glad you responded!

It is a fun job, with a lot better money. But the hard part is staying in work. I have to hustle to find jobs, and since I am just starting out I don't have a lot of networking set up yet.

But once I get to where I am working with some regularity it will be great.

Eeks! Of course after I hung up I thought of something far more intelligent to say. I actually got nervous...plus I was trying to order a breakfast burrito at Dos Hermanos.

Anyway thank you so much for your kind words! You guys make my morning drive so much fun. Woo hoo!

I just saw your reply about my offer to edit the Vader balloon stuff. Unfortunately I just had my last day at KRQE. I am now working on film stuff, with my first gig being a day player Lighting Tech on Breaking Bad.
