I get my woodworking tools sharpened at Precision Sharpening 3018 Princeton Dr Ne Albuquerque, NM 87107 Phone: (505) 884-8229 Never tried them for knives (I do that myself), but give them a call. They do great work on other cutting tools.

My favorite breakfast is green chile scrambled egg tacos. Put a little butter in a small pan, add chile to your taste (mine is 1Tablespoon chile per egg). Warm it up over high heat. Add two beaten eggs with salt and pepper. I'm watching cholestero...

Thanks for posting! You really caught those rascals in your poem! We live across the road from Res land and every morning, about 15 minutes after sunrise we see a gang of three trotting off to mischief, just like commuters headed to work. Can't re...

RR could easily pay for itself if it lets us delay widening I-25 between Bernalillo and SF for a couple of years. Looks at the pricetags on those "Thank you New Mexico" orange signs - about a million dollars a mile. The other thing that seems to b...

One thing I can definitely say is that the ridership is sufficient to fill the parking lots. On weekdays, everytime I drive by the Sandoval County lot, near my house it is packed to overflowing. Weekends are much lighter.

hi, I just wanted to say hi and say that I appreciated your comment about the labs on the 'neighbor' blog post. Lately, I've been reading a lot about Oppenheimer--and the other night watched the documentary, The Day After Trinity. It shocks me that a half-century ago these physicists realized they had created something dangerous and terrible--and that the talk today is so incredibly irrational, and has everything to do with billions in boondoggles, rather than environmental safety and basic human rights and kindness. Anyway, hi.

Hey there,

The name came pretty randomly. I think I was just sitting on the couch one day thinking about crafting or something, and it hit me how strange glue was. Particularly hoof glue (wiki it...super strange process). I don't condone making horses into glue, but if they're already being killed, it seems that making use of all of the horse is a sound idea.

It was sort of a twisted joke, but it works on a personal level too, because I'm a big fan of making collages, and "things" in general.

Sorry, that was probably a more extensive answer than you were looking for.

How long have you been in Albuquerque? I see you make furniture--glue, nails, or both?

Sincerely,
Monet

Thanks for the comment, and the moral support Uncle Jess. This is actually the 1st house that I've owned (or lived in) where there isn't a water shut off near the house! Crazy... but I think you may be right as to the reasoning. Thanks again.
Be well!
