Sirens being tested at UNM on Monday

Another semester, another UNM Siren Alert test.

The University of New Mexico will be testing it's emergency alert system this Monday at 11:02 AM. There will be a one-minute pause of the sirens, followed by an "all clear" siren. The “all clear” siren will sound for approximately one minute.

We recommend that pet owners in the UNM take special care to keep animals that may be afraid of these sounds inside during the siren test.

The University of New Mexico will be testing it's emergency alert system this Monday at 11:02 AM. If you live in the UNM area and have pets you may want to take special care to be sure they are inside when the sirens go off.
