yes they do, but also there is room for smart services that can reduce the increasing burden placed on local gov. see nmroads.com, initiated by nmdot and hosted by realtimesites.

As a non-driver, only Nob Hill/UNM is doable for me.
But good luck with the concert!

Thanks. I went to Seasons last night. Nice crowd. I will be coming home more often now, so I am happy to know there are places for me to go. Andrea B.

Scott Mitchell is the guitar player's name. On upright bass, Carlos Cordova, and Kent Pittsenbarger on drums. I'll add it to the event notification. Are you going to go see them? I'll be there with bells on!

Years ago my ex-husband used to play with Scott in a band called Del Rios. And years before that Scott used to be in Lash LaRue

I initially looked for Astrud Gilberto's version of The Girl From Ipanema, but the choice of music on this thing is somewhat limited and all titles don't pan out to what they really are. I settled for less than I wanted on some songs.

Come back and listen, anytime.

Well, that's a pretty personal question!
Today, incidentally, I'm listening to the 10%—File Under Burroughs (music) album, cuz it's good, unobtrusive music to do data entry to But when I'm composing item descriptions, I indeed pop in Hashisheen on a regular basis. The low-freak high-content quality is good to keep me verbose and creative.

(And I just clicked on why you would ask me that--my Freya Stark quote! I thought, "What in the world...?")

If I can sneak over the Tavern Saturday I'd like to check it out. Not that bad of a place - we did an open mic there once and went a couple times- - not too cozy but a good bunch of folks and good beers.

Thanks for your comment. Have we met? Perhaps at the Outpost or, hopefully, at a CMA concert. I intend to keep posting news about CMA and my personal observations on the "new" and chamber music scenes here in NM. Let me know your thoughts. Take care.
