Hey, sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but were you still interested in being interviewed? I'd be more than happy to set up a date and time for the next couple of weeks. If not, that's fine!

The prison photos are striking! I love architectural photography.

Fellow NM Photographer!
Just a quick note to invite you to Karl Koenig's opening at the Inpost Art Space (at the Outpost Performance Space, 210 Yale SE) this coming Friday evening, 5-8. Karl is a talented photographer who makes images mostly of nature and architecture, the world round. The show will focus on his large format gumoil photographs, a process that he pioneered himself about 20 years ago. The prints are hand pigmented, resulting in amazingly vibrant photographs with a wondrous, almost catastrophic fairy tale quality. I find them highly affecting and unique.

My fellow curator Rob Thalmann and I plan to focus heavily on local photography during our 2 year term there at the Outpost, and this is just the tip of the iceberg for us. Maybe we could even do a DCF photographer's group show there?

Come see the show on the 5th!

Hi Buggs - It has been almost 10 years since that Pajarito adventure but as I recall the buried church is south of Pajarito Road between Coors and the West escarpment - just North of the Isleta Res. I just took a quick look on both Google Earth and MSN birdseye maps but did not find it. I'll look again later and let you know if I can find it.

My last trip was during the month of March and there was what I hope was a "dummy" hanging from one of the crosses. The property was fenced but the road to it was open.

Right now I'm busy wrapping up my work preparing for a trip to Central America next month through mid November. It would be cool to take a trip out there together when I return. Let's keep in touch. Delete Comment
