How can Downtown Albuquerque live up to it's potential?

Good point. I'd be curious to know as well.

How can Downtown Albuquerque live up to it's potential?

For the umpteenth time, YES to the downtown grocery! To this hardened urban dweller, downtown Albuquerque is hardly dead or even dying. It just needs some TLC and the kind of long-term thinking th... Continue

Martin Heinrich Office Opening Barbeque!

Perhaps someone should start a separate thread a la "Martin Heinrich + meat" or "Vegan inquires about Martin Heinrich's meat." Um, the possibilities are endless.

It's knee-deep at the peak

Snow bunnies, remain undeterred! Powder may be paltry down here in the desert but high in the Sandias there's plenty.

For the past three weekends, we've trekked up the east side of the mountain for some premium snowshoeing. And we made a movie-film to prove it.

Aw Thank you! You're so sweet! I've been lurking for years and finally got a profile!

Hello any new thoughts on why I don't have all the Chris, enevelope, little guy, and create you own whatever on top of the page half the time and what happened to the green box on My Page that I may have deleted. The box was the one with Make changes to your page. I thought I had just hidden it but if so I did a good job cause I can't find it again. It has been suggested that I give you my pass word to see if you can fix things but I can't remember what it is. Did I choose it or did DCF give it to me? There are only a few combinations I use for everything but none of them worked when I was trying to change it so I could give it to you.

Yes, the drivers signed up with AFSCME, which already represents most of the other organized city employees.

Well, I was trying to type a comment for you, but then a mustached food writer popped into view.

As for bus drivers, I think there are several factors in play. The old union, the NMTU, had split from its international parent organization awhile back in some kind of dispute. The drivers have even worked without a contract at one point. Also, several big unions kept coming in, trying to take it over.

So there was obviously turmoil over the years. Some of the drivers, of course, are also unhappy with the changes Greg Payne has been making.

Congrats to you, contributor!

I'm currently getting a BS in Sign Language Interpreting. I'll be done in May (yay!). However, since I really don't see myself as being an interpreter I'm thinking about going back and either getting a master's or a second degree in journalism... Not sure how that's gonna work out though...

Hey, thank you so much for that link! I'm really sorry I missed those guys. The problem is I'm trying to finish up my last semester at UNM so most of the time things like this just pass me by. Still sounds like an awesome group.

Hi Chantal... I'm not sure this is the appropriate venue for my question. But, I have tried a couple of times to upload photos on Flicker/Duke City Fix. The last one is showing up on my Flicker page but not in the Duke City Fix group when I navigate from the DCF main page. Do you know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help!
