WORRIED OWNER DESPERATELY MISSES DJ! REWARD!!!

I have recently lost my dog D.J. Or, as we call her, Baby D. Her name stands for Dachsundicus Jiganticus because she looks like a giant weiner dog. Originally, though, I meant for it to mean Dutchess Judy because I thought the dog from Fox and the Hound was named Duke. Really, though, sh… Continue

To do or not to do? Being Type A makes you lose sleep.

You could say that I'm a little...Type A. That's not to say that my neuroses follow what society would like me to be Type A about but I have those tendencies nonetheless.

Let's talk a little bit about being Type A first. There are two basic strategies: To approach success OR To avoid failure. You can be the best by beating everyone out or you can be the best by being the only one not to fail. Either way--you win. What I like about being Type A is that I win; who doesn't like it? Who doesn't wan… Continue

Albuquerque - Jamaican Me Angry!

Ok, I'm sorry to those of you who read this and know me in real life but Albuquerqians - Jamaican Me Angry!

I have not bothered to ride a bike in our great Duke City for quite some time on the basis that at 12 years old you are unable to protect yourself from 2 undeniable sources of harm: The Law and Everyone Else.

First of all, the Law does not allow for bikers to ride on sidewalks because bicycles are considered motorized vehicles. Yeah, at the athletic age of 12 at 5'0'' I was considered a… Continue

Talking Talons - Feathers, Painting, And Sun

Today was the first official day of volunteering I have done in...FOREVER. Really, not since the tenth grade have I bothered to step forward and do my civic duty. And not until today has it been so easy to be needed somewhere--even if you're not getting paid or forced to live with someone.

Today me and Sarah went to Talking Talons bat, bird, and reptile refuge in Tijeras. It is located off of scenic Route 66 (NM SR 333) just East of the Tijeras village and west of Moriarity on the South Side. I… Continue

Mudbogging - Agabe Love for the Soul

I went to my friend's graduation out in Amarillo this last weekend. After flying out on Friday night, Saturday morning was pure chaos. There were 17 people sleeping in the house and the only one who had to be out early was the graduate. By the time we fed just the kids, it was time to go! The graduation itself was kind of lame, it was only a 2 hour ceremony where the Valedictorian and Salutariate were insanely accomplished. I almost fell asleep by the time they were done reading their accomplish… Continue

Could it be fair to argue, then, that the same factors that may contribute to the feeling of loneliness for some may be the 'cure' for others?
February 2
One of the comments made said something to the effect of getting off your butt and moving is the only way for one to feel happiness in the face of singlehood. Dependence on others, from what I gathered, is what causes people to become dissatisfied...

This isn't a question that can be easily answered as it would differ for each individual. We all have different ways of coping with anything/everything and what one person uses to fill a void of loneliness may or may not work for someone else.
February 2
Interesting perspective/questions you ask. I would say that boredom can lead to loneliness, depending on how long one remains bored due to boredoms inherent tendency to lead one to over think and dwell on the negative....at least in my personal ex...

So, then, what does?

Do you think that it is a state of mind for those who do not have the social skills required for adequate social interaction? For those who have been unable to obtain relationships, do you feel that their participation is a result of their own act...
January 29
Actually the definition of lonely is the dissatisfaction with your current social network. I suppose that if you believe that your social network should include everyone in the world then you would inherently feel lonely with or without a signific...

Hey there! We had some encryption issues, but they should be fixed now. If you're fam and friends are still having issues have em email me directly at scott.westerman@comcast.net with their contact info and I'll take a look at each personally.

How are you liking SP this season? Feels a bit like Matt and Trey are at the edge of the envelope sometimes.. although I loved the Cloverfield take-off

I forgot to tell you, but I'm going to the mini training session thingy tomorrow at AHA for the adoption training. It's at 9am in the room where we had our volunteer orientation. My mum's taking me. If you want to come and need a ride, call me tonight or tomorrow morning before 7:30am.

I wasn't sure what time you were going to fight for your rights (lol), but I thought I'd tell you anyway. The training should only be about an hour.

Was Sundance the Rottie/Dobie puppy that was adopted at the end of the mobile by the young lady that owns the Smoothie King - if so, then yes, it is her employee/friend that is going to adopt Cooger.

Yea, it's me Sandy, the one that's been taking Cooger to all the mobiles. Looks like he is going to get adopted next Monday by a lady who saw him at the mobile last Sunday. She's going out of town but will adopt him the minute she returns. Good for ol' Cooger!!
