"Gayle, Im so sorry for your loss. I've experienced this too frequently. They will recover. I had my first batch of 25 chickens (& 2 roos) almost completely slaughtered by a neighbor's dog. We had maybe 7 or 8 hens and 1 roo that…"
"They're moulting. Totally natural. Gives the hens a break from laying as they regrow their new feathers. Google for more info. You can give them sunflower seeds or other high protein snacks if you want, but changing feed won't stop the…"
Is it a bird? a plane? UFO? digital art? Who else sees that brightly lit object in the sky? We noticed a hot air ballon shaped object way up in the sky earlier, but, now that the sun has set, it's all lit up. Any ideas?See More

Thank you, Jen. I got a call tonight and a woman named Emily is planning on picking her up tomorrow. However, if she does not come I will let you know! Its good to know that my girl will have a home even if it can no longer be here. Thanks again!
Hi Jen. Gosh, thank you for your help. I still want to get some goats milk from you. I spent most of the morning that I talked to you on the phone w/ "goat people" and was able to have "Dr. Miracle" come down and give us advice. We needed to act fast, and it was suggested that we give our sick baby goat cows milk (until we could get goats milk). We started him on penicilin, a pro-biotic (i think its the same one your recommended) and a little "goat tylenol". He is up! And thankfully, eating. I'll try to get in touch w/ you about getting some goat milk. Thanks again!! cherie
