They stuck out notices yesterday that they were re-blacking the street, tonight when I got home form work It had begun.

I voted against the bond/plan i continue to oppose the stupid plan, to turn these major downtown and freeway feeding arteries into 2 lane, rage driver filled, quagmires of pollution! Mark my words this will be bad, and when they do their monthly closing… Continue

No, that is the big misunderstanding. Even eye witnesses (KOB site) stated it was the new building. Must have been real foggy...

Really enjoyed reading the article in the Alibi about you today. I never knew there was a name for it, but I've done my share of urbex in the past!

Fellow NM Photographer!
Just a quick note to invite you to Karl Koenig's opening at the Inpost Art Space (at the Outpost Performance Space, 210 Yale SE) this coming Friday evening, 5-8. Karl is a talented photographer who makes images mostly of nature and architecture, the world round. The show will focus on his large format gumoil photographs, a process that he pioneered himself about 20 years ago. The prints are hand pigmented, resulting in amazingly vibrant photographs with a wondrous, almost catastrophic fairy tale quality. I find them highly affecting and unique.

My fellow curator Rob Thalmann and I plan to focus heavily on local photography during our 2 year term there at the Outpost, and this is just the tip of the iceberg for us. Maybe we could even do a DCF photographer's group show there?

Come see the show on the 5th!
