For this June's Happy Hour we're back/still at O'Niell's Irish Pub on Central for our monthly happy hour -- with a minor twist: the desire to field two or more teams for that night's Geeks Who Drink and totally rule over the competition. To accomplish our mission, we'll need to establish an early beachhead in the main room to serve as our base of operations for our usual (non-networky) Web Geeks and hub to launch multiple attacks during the Geeks who Drink melee that ensues, and that in it…See More

Peter, thanks for the Denver recommendation! I hadn't read the rules about posting to the forum. Since it wasn't about Duke City, it was yanked. Fair enough. I was able to read part of your comment through my email, though, and I definitely plan to check out Mercury Cafe. I leave out tonight. I'm hoping to get in breakfast, lunch, and dinner at three amazing restaurants before I return!
Thanks for your help!

I see you do Other Voices, Other Sounds on KUNM. There is a Mexican pianist, Ana Cervantes, coming to give a concert of new (2006) music she commissioned at the Outpost on 10/9. She has two CDs released of that music. A show about her project would be great. I'll be dropping off CDs to the KUNM library shortly. If interested please contact me. firstname.lastname@example.org
