Hi OTBS - I'm an engineer - therefore I'm forever thinking up solutions to perceived issues. (For example, I prodded Transit into providing bus schedules at the bus stops - they fell in love with Apple apps, but the vast majority of bus riders are poor and can't afford iPhones. Having a schedule at the bus stop is more useful.) So, anyway, if you could post your issue (with a proposed solution) in the Transit page - that would be great. If other people are interested (ie, add a comment), then I'm interested and will try to bring up the issue.
We did have a rider attend our last meeting, and he brought up the fact that the Rapid Ride bus going up Central is only crowded during commuting time, but, otherwise, everyone rides the 66 - because of the numerous stops. And virtually no one gets off between EDO and San Mateo. (Just like I observed.. - this is the reason I think the BRT won't accomplish anything except to kill off small businesses in Nob Hill).
Anyway, thanks for all the interesting comments you have made through the years, and post those transit-related concerns/solutions for other bus riders to find them (please).
Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention, but I hadn't seen many comments from you in a while. I went to what I thought was your page and there wasn't any activity on it so I thought you had left us! Had me worried! ;)
I wondered about your moniker, Once Banned Twice Shy, and appreciate your support. I had a post deleted once when Coach Locksley. I innocently complimented him on his "large family" and the likelihood that he would contribute many good athletes to the school system. I never thought of it as being related to racism, but in the midst of his being criticized, and amid several other deletions, I think it was an accident. I should have said it about Coach Alford who has two players on the La Cueva team. I haven't checked into what has happened to Locksley's four children.
