Profile Information

Where I Live:
ABQ Uptown Area
About Me:
I am a medical intuitive and feng shui consultant with a background in bodywork, medical intuition and environmental energywork. I have written some books to help people develop their own intuition and teach classes about it too. More info about that at www.IntuitiveLearningCircle.com

I'm married to a fantastic man named Bob Morrison and he is the BEST.

We've got a huge orange tabby named Phosphorus and we just got a little dog from the pound that we named Faunasita because when she runs she looks just like a little fairy leaping and bouncing around.

We have always wanted to live in New Mexico and happily we made it here in 2006. So far, so good!

I have a wonderful daughter, Mandy, that lives in Portland OR with her husband, Nate. She's a jeweler, if you want to know and she recently became one of the ten finalists in the Sixth Annual Ugly Necklace Contest.

I am getting ready to do a bunch of blogging about animal medicine and feng shui and how they can inspire us to keep moving, even through the difficult times.

If you want to check that out go to Http://intuitivelearningcircle.com/news/ and sign up on the rss feed.

Getting On the Wrong Bus

One thing I really appreciate about DCF is the desire to stay positive about our fair city.

I was recently at a workshop where people were talking about careers and livelihood in Albuquerque and was struck by the common theme of hate. These were all good people, mind you, people who wanted to be happy and prosperous. Yet each and every one of them (including me) was holding on to a reason for their unhappiness.

I have been volunteering at Animal Humane lately, working with dogs that are timid, shy or otherwise difficult to place in a new forever home. Recently, a young dog came in who was shot in the jaw and left for dead. The folks at the shelter named him "Casino" because he was found wandering around a Casino just outside of Albuquerque. I was asked to do some Reiki energy work on him because he was obviously in a… Continue

You're welcome on the idea. Seems perfect since you volunteer there. I know the Journal had an adoption page during the week and Friday's on 100.3 The Watermelon Ranch promotes a dog of the week. Just seemed natural to do it here as well. I volunteered for two days at the Animal Humane. I was not only heart broken and wanted to take them all home with me. It is a great thing you are doing, and it will be the first place I go when my dogs pass away. They are 15 years old and the female is finally breaking down and losing weight. But to see her, she's all smiles and still has the prance in her step. I look forward to seeing the animal posts.
