"Those things cost too much money, and won't that money be better spent on a new stadium, or a trolley? ;)"

Why doesn't Albuquerque have any recycling facilities?

We have recycling pick-ups, drop-off centers, and lots of lip service, but no actual recycling mill. Just holding bins. I'm hoping more folks will take notice of this and call their city councillors, buzz in at the mayoral debates, and general make a little noise until we get one. We call ourselves a "green" city, but we don't even recycle -- we just hold all those recyclables until.... until what? Until we have a way to recycle them? Isn't it about time?

I would like to learn more about your workshop. I work with folks with serious mental illness (schizophrenia, bi-polar, major depression, and PTSD). The thing that they the illnesses have in common is that their anxiety is off the charts!
