- Hi there, I am sorry to hear of the situation, but the only thing I can recomend is to do what you have done.Second Chance animal rescue, Watermelon Ranch, PACA, and there are a few others that might help. If you have no luck with any of those, I reccomend Animal Humane in Albuquerque. As a puppy, she has a great chance for adoption, and they have a great staff and decent kennels. You can also post listings on craigs list, but be very careful who you adopt to.
