About Me:: I am an artist and teaching artist. I work with found objects, weathered metal and wood, stuff I find in the recycling bin. I create reuse assemblages, origami-inspired book and paper pieces and sometimes even paint. I recently returned to Albuquerque from Los Angeles, happy to be here. I teach art, focus on promoting literacy and cultural literacy through art experiences. I believe in reusing materials and discovering alternative tools and materials for imaginative play and creative endeavor in my own work and my work with children, teens and adults.

Favorite Thing(s) About Albuquerque:: my family and friends. the land and sky. art and inspiration. roadrunners and sunsets. green chile and betty's soaks.

Two Degrees of Separation
