Pride and Equality Magazine hosted "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" this weekend. Originally the film, which played at the Guild Theater, was to run on Friday and Saturday (10/21-22) nights only but due to an overwhelming response they added a third viewing on Sunday (10/23). When the film was announced I dutifully purchased my ticktet along with many other Rocky lovers. I don't actually remember when the last regular showing of Rocky occurred in Albuquerque or in what theater but I do…

While running endless errands during work I found a new little hole in the wall. The food is great, service is fantastic, and the prices beat most restaurant in town.
Entrees range from $5.95 to $8.95.

It's Cafe Lush.
They are open Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. They will soon be open on Saturday and maybe even Sunday, assuming the staff doesn't…

Pridefest throughout New Mexico is more than gay and lesbian people celebrating who we are as persons. It asks people who are not gay or lesbian to be more than tolerant. It calls for acceptance, which is both a civil right and a human right. And with that its time to prepare for Pride in New Mexico!
With a sizable gay and lesbian population and a scenic setting at the base of the soaring Sandia Mountains, Albuquerque has become one of the more gay-popular destinations in…

eT said… Hi and thank you for the welcome! Yes, BLACK LOTUS is very LBGTQ and I strongly encourage the community to attend. The test run will be 2/29 and as it grows i'd like to promote a benefit for HIV/AIDs treatment and research. I hope to see ya'll at the show!
