Alas, the Tricklock Revolutions International Theatre Festival
has wrapped up another year and we must simply wait until next January. But they saved the best for last.
was truly one of the most magical, memorable productions I have seen in a very long time. Few companies so deftly use sound, movement, lighting and acting to draw us into an… Continue

Tonight we'll be taking delivery of a new old used desk. A guy named Archie (I think) from Thrift Town
on Menaul offered to bring it to us since the desk is not disassembleable (I doubt that's a real word, actually, unless it is once it's published, in which case I deem it open source; have fun!), and therefore has not a hope of fitting into the Yaris.
The desk at which I'm currently sitting is a cherry veneer executive-style… Continue

Do your friends far away ever wonder why you are living in Albuquerque
? It is hard to explain to an outsider. This poem will make you smile as your head moves up, down, and sideways. It probably won't help your friends much.

From the Two Whos
Yun's sons want a couple of small pets that they can take care of. They thought about getting a couple of beta fish. So, they went shopping. Walking inside the pet store, they were drawn to a big bird cage in the middle of the room. Inside, there were several parakeets chirping and dancing.... The boys attention changed from fish to birds. They want to buy the birds instead of fish
She was… Continue

As Cece is recovering from her shoulder surgery and laying low at home, Yun is out networking with many people. As Cece is home researching, Yun is out implementing!
Later, Yun came over to Cece's for tea and to check on her condition and take her out for a walk.
Yun is very excited and tells Cece that while she was out and about, she stopped by the TV station and pitched a TV show about… Continue

It started snowing last night out here in the East Mountains--when I went to bed at midnight, a few flakes had begun to drift down, and when I woke up at 3 a.m. to let the dog out, there was already about an inch on the ground. It hasn't stopped. It's been snowing all day.
We've probably got about 10-11 inches, maybe a foot by now.
Have A Seat!
Our back patio, around 1 p.m. It has snowed another inch or two… Continue

JUST-in from SpaceWeather.com:->FULL MOON AND MARS:
Friday night's full Moon is the biggest and brightest full Moon of the year. It's a "perigee Moon," as much as 14% wider and 30% brighter than other full Moons you'll see later in 2010.
But that's not all. Mars is having a close encounter with Earth, and on Friday night, Jan. 29th, it will join the Moon for an all-night-long conjunction.

I might be moving to Albuquerque in Sept or Oct. I have wanted to live there for many years and now finally I might get the chance to do so. If I come there I will be working near the intersection of I-25 and Osuna. Can someone recommend a good apartment complex near there. I will probably live in an apartment for 9 months to a year and then my wife will join me and we'll buy a house. Thanks
It's been a while since I posted that question, and the opportunity to move to Albuquerque… Continue

Yun’s kids were with their father’s family up in Taos skiing and left the single mother home alone for several days right after the New Year. Missing her kids has become part of the her life now. No matter what she is missing her kids.
On the bright side, she gets a lots done. After the kids were gone for three days, one late afternoon, Yun felt a bit hungry. She went downstairs to get some food. She… Continue

12th & Mountain NW--It is hard not to have noticed the interest in this corner location ever since the announced closing of the Sunshine Cafe over a month ago. The discussion here on the DCF has generated 59 replies! Now Cocina Azul has opened in the same spot. MaryAnn and I stopped by for lunch last Sunday.
It was sort of an accidental visit: we were hungry and there it was. The building still has those wonderful windows that look out… Continue
