Paper or Plastic? How Many Bags are Enough?

If you are anything like Cece, you try to recycle your bags from the grocery store. She has used her plastic bags for everything from cat litter to garbage can liners. When the plastic bags pile to uncontrollable levels, she puts them into a tissue box so they have a "dispenser!" When the tissue boxes pile up, she switches to paper bags. Accident on the Bike Boulevard a Warning

NOB HILL--As far as I know, this is not a tragic story. I peeked in the back of the ambulance and the bike rider was talking to the paramedics. He even looked relaxed...which is hard to believe considering how close he came to tragedy. Our State: Budget and Tax

Around 1AM Sunday morning I voted� against the food tax and the budget, just felt the budget could have been much more equitable for working families and the food tax would have disproportionally hurt my district, which unfortunately has little fresh food outlets.

The Two Whos on "Why did the Chicken (Soup) Cross the Road?"

Lately, Yun and Cece check in with each other by asking " Do you have chicken soup?' since we are both are little under the weather...

Placitas Wild Horses Freedom Imperiled

We are fortunate to have beautiful bands of horses roaming the hills north of Placitas on BLM land. These horses have been known to live free in this area since the 60s.
