This morning's early coffee break was intruded upon from the air above our neighborhood with the buzzing of a waspy sounding airplane that kept coming and going, coming and going. As my wife notes on occasion, I might be called, Too Much Coffee Man.
This morning was one of those moments for this fairly caffeinated man to look up, take some pictures, and to have fun with… Continue

My classes with the Citizen Police Academy (APD) continue to provide a unique look at our unique city...

I am in my third week of the Albuquerque Police Departments' CPA program, the 35th CPA class offered. It is a 12 week course (classes meet twice a week with optional weekend field trips) of fairly amazing adventures offered for free to Albuquerque residents by the Albuquerque Police Department. I am wondering if any of you DCF readers have been a participant?

On Friday the 13th Black Market Goods hosted a private party for a local fetish club. As we are an art space dedicated to all forms of expression (so long as they are legal) we hosted this without hesitation. That night two Black Market Goods members stayed on site to watch the facilities and ensure that party was safe, legitimate, and legal. From the hours of 9pm-4am the party went on unhindered, even with the visitation of two of APD’s finest, in uniform! The two uniformed police officers… Continue

It was not a good week for Albuquerque DWI Attorney, John Higgins
, seen at this KOBtv link threatening APD officers on video

are pretty revealing.
