Ex- Albuquerque Journal State Editor Fritz Thompson Writes Book on Wagon Mound, Girlfriends, Basketball

Retired Albuquerque Journal state editor Fritz Thompson, an Albuquerque resident and a graduate of the University of New Mexico, has written a book about his hometown, Wagon Mound, N.M.

It’s about ranching, basketball and girlfriends.  Its title is “The Life and Times of Fritz Thompson.”

Fritz didn’t write it for you. He wrote it “primarily for [his] city dweller [Albuquerque raised] daughters."  He describes it as an “unsophisticated narration that defines growing-up-country…
