Feathered Friend

For the past couple of weeks, I have had the pleasure of being entertained every morning and afternoon by a little red finch. He comes up to my office window and goes through a chaotic ritual of pecking the window, fluttering about and chirping his heart out. I have a question for anyone who might know, is this normal? I have never seen a Bald Eagle in NM in the wild and wondered if they migrate through here or something?

An Opportunity for Photographers, Pros and Ams

I posted about this on the events page, but I am afraid it won't be seen until it is too late for those of you who are interested. Wildlife Rescue is an incredible organization that takes in, rehabs, and releases the hurt or orphaned animals brought to them from all over the greater Albuquerque area. I used to rehab orphaned quail, pheasant, killdeer and chukars for WR, but I am no longer a volunteer with them, since the Board of Health frowns on me… Continue
