Our first annual Chroma Fest (celebrating 4 years in business) begins tonight with an art show/open studios event at our Central location (1606 Central Ave SE suite 201). 5 – 9pm we open the doors at our artist studios, several of the resident artists will be there to share their studios and work. We also have a handful of artists that previously showed their work with us at Chroma Gallery. Refreshments and a good time will be had by all!

May 1st was our first opening at our new space on Roma. After three weeks of 12-14 hour days and lots of work, our First Friday opening was a huge hit. We just adore our new space on the corner of 1st and Roma! Chroma on Roma, according to everyone I talked with at the opening, is now THE "IT" place here in Albuquerque. Next month marks the one year anniversary of Chroma Studios. To celebrate, we are opening the upstairs studios along with the downstairs gallery for First Friday. Besides all the killer art, we will have several musical acts playing in the gallery, out in the courtyard and upstairs on the patio! In the gallery/studio today, yes, on a holiday, to get the January show up and the gallery ready for tomorrow's opening reception. The First Friday reception will be open from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The show will be up for the entire month of January.
