photo taken from Transit website

We have been discussing getting rid of our van for several weeks now. What better day than "Dump the Pump" day?! When I say getting rid of our van, I mean getting rid of having a vehicle, period. We have…

You've Got The Power - Use It!

Got an opinion or a thought about how your electricity is generated? Concerned about the environment? Rising costs? Maybe both? Want more of a say in where your power comes from? Here's your chance to get involved.

There Will Be Blood, SunCal Style

For me, great movies stick in my head for weeks after I've seen them. I like to chew on them for a while in my head to fully digest the themes and underlying meaning. There Will Be Blood, starring Daniel Day Lewis, falls into that category. It's a profound saga of family and greed centered on one man's search for oil in the American west, and I've been chewing on it for a couple of months now.

I recently carved new meaning from… Continue
