"Trick or Vote" Nationwide, Burque-fied!

The election has started. Voting is underway. Thousands of New Mexicans are casting their ballots from the comfort of their own home - and you can too!

I'm writing this post to personally encourage you to vote by mail.

There are a lot of reasons to vote by mail. You can save yourself the headache of getting to the polling place and standing in a line on a busy Tuesday. You can vote from the comfort of your own home at a day and time that's…

June 3rd: Primary day

While the Democratic presidential candidate in New Mexico was decided via caucus a few months ago, both Republicans and Democrats have responsibilities at the polls today. The most important races today are those for Congressional candidates.

There Will Be Blood, SunCal Style

For me, great movies stick in my head for weeks after I've seen them. I like to chew on them for a while in my head to fully digest the themes and underlying meaning. There Will Be Blood, starring Daniel Day Lewis, falls into that category. It's a profound saga of family and greed centered on one man's search for oil in the American west, and I've been chewing on it for a couple of months now.

I recently carved new meaning from… Continue
