Albuquerque Needs More Freak Shows

Writers get it. Whether it is a blank piece of paper in a typewriter (remember those?), a flashing yellow cursor on a black screen, or thin blue lines on a piece of notebook paper, the feeling of writer’s block is terrifying. On Being an Aspiring Art Collector (on a Tight Budget)

Why We Labor

I have a Depression era pressed-glass serving plate that belonged to my great-grandmother. Circling the edge of the plate are these words, "It is pleasant to labor for those we love".
