Barelas Babe’s Turkish Bean Soup

2 cups of dried cannellini beans (white kidney beans)– soaked overnight*

3 Tablespoons of olive oil

2 large onions (chopped)

3 cloves of garlic

3 stalks of celery (diced)

Albuquerque Needs More Freak Shows

Writers get it. Whether it is a blank piece of paper in a typewriter (remember those?), a flashing yellow cursor on a black screen, or thin blue lines on a piece of notebook paper, the feeling of writer’s block is terrifying.
