UPDATED: Operation "Drop Grandma @ the Sunport"

At about 10pm last night, I received this email from a friend who apparently has an unaccompanied grandma at his house. How that happens, I have no idea but she needs a ride to the Sunport this morning and we've volunteered for chauffeur duty.

I ate at the Green Weenie

At $2.50 a pop, those "environmentally friendly frankfurters" touted in yesterday's Journal have got to be the cheapest lunch downtown. I stopped by the electric car hot-dog stand today with a friend to scope out the scene and can testify that it was a solid dawg experience.

Thai Songkran Festival this Sunday

This Sunday, consider heading to what my friend Miguel calls Albuquerque's "Cilantro Triangle" in the SE Heights for Songkran, the Thai New Year festival.
